                      Hura Cowrie
                      This necklace is made from the shrapnel of exploded sandbox tree (Hura crepitans) seeds and one cowrie shell.

                      Nuts
                      Made from the shell of a nut found in Trinidad by a freind.  The shell was sanded to create a much slimmer look, and decorated with beads and silver sire.  Seed beads of varying sizes make up the necklace.

                      Earrings made from the shrapnel of exploded sandbox tree (Hura crepitans) seeds.  Native to the carribbean these style of earrings are often made and sold in tropical islands.

                      Swiet
                      Cut from pieces of a mahogany seed pod.  Most know mahogany for the timber.  Last year I was introduced to the seed pods after a friend gave me several pieces.  The texture of these pods is beautiful.

                      Casaurina
                      A pine cone look-a-like this nut sheltering fruit of the casaurina species was found in Trinidad by a family freind.  This species, with pine needle like branches, are native to tropical areas including the Caribbean, Florida, Australia and Hawaii.
